Our Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday 16th February at 7.30pm in the Room at the Top in Felixstowe Library. The homework assignment is to write, for this meeting only, 750 words on any historical subject or character that pre-dates the second world war. Now this provides the widest possible range of subjects. It is a fascinating idea and hopefully will provide another aspect to our writing abilities.

The 1,500 word assignments will be undertaken by Peter and Simon.

We hear on the grapevine that Janet Cundy of Felixstowe Radio has interviewed our Angela and talks about her story that was short-listed in the Ip-art 2009 Short Story competition which she preferred to Angela's story that won in 2008! Janet reads the story out too - giving it her own interpretation. It is meant to be "tongue-in-cheek" with a gentle touch of humour. Angela remarks that 'any resemblance to real live characters etc. etc. is PURELY ACCIDENTAL!!!!' Intriguing! The programme goes out this Sunday between 6 and 8 p.m. on www.felixstoweradio.co.uk.

Until Tuesday,

Keep Scribbling!
