Tonight's meeting...

A well attended meeting with plenty of excellent tales and poetry on our chosen theme, "Autumn". Nice to see Martin and Carolyn back albeit briefly, and a welcome to Katy reading her first ever story she compiled for children.

It is an amazing experience at Scribblers and though many members are purely hobby writers, their work could put many a professional to shame.

Why not come and join us sometime soon? Details are elsewhere on this weblog.

Next meeting is the prestigious anonymous competition for the Bill Budner Trophy. For attending members only, we ask for up to 1,000 words on any subject... full details of the competition appear at the top of the page.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 17th September.
