PRESS RELEASE – Write in France

My name is Rob Ireland and I represent best-selling young people's author, Robert Rigby. I wonder if you'd be kind enough to share his forthcoming writing course, held in south-west France, with your writing group? I've copied the press release below and also attached a copy for your convenience.
Best wishes,
Rob
Best-selling young people’s author, Robert Rigby, will be leading two fully inclusive residential courses, each for ten aspiring writers, in the tranquil and inspiring setting of a beautiful farmhouse in south-west France.

Robert Rigby is the co-author, with Andy McNab, of the best-selling, Boy Soldier series of action/adventure thrillers. He was the official children’s author for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, producing a series of four sporting themed novels for young readers. Robert also wrote the novelizations of the two Goal! movies and completed the trilogy with a further stand alone novel. His fiction for children and young people has been translated into twenty languages. For television, Robert was a lead-writer on the long-running and award-winning BBC teen drama, Byker Grove.
London, 5th February, 2013: The courses will be held on Saturday 16th - Saturday 23rd August, 2014; and Saturday 11th - Saturday 18th October, 2014The workshops will be focused on fiction writing, with a particular emphasis on novels for young people. Participants can bring with them a work-in-progress or alternatively can elect to kick-start a completely new idea. Group sessions will be held between 9.30 and 12.30 every morning, from Sunday to Friday and will cover the essential elements for creating a successful novel - structure, character, dialogue, style and a great story. Through writing exercises and assignments, some fun and some challenging, reading aloud, discussion and supportive feedback, Robert will encourage and develop writing skills and sharpen technique. Afternoons will be given over to private writing time, with each writer given the opportunity of individual tutorials.
The courses will be held at La Borde Blanque at St. Colombe sur l’Hers in the Aude region of the Languedoc. The country house is situated in extensive hilltop grounds and boasts magnificent views over the surrounding countryside. Delightful shady terraces are suitable for both al fresco dining and open air workshop sessions. All participants have access to the private and secluded bathing area on the stunning 600 hectare Lac de Montbel. On the ground floor of the house are comfortable lounges, a dining room, workshop areas and a library. Upstairs are eight bedrooms, four with en-suite bathrooms and four more sharing two further bathrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day and will be mainly vegetarian, using locally sourced and organic produce where possible. Local wine will be served with dinner. Tea and coffee are provided in bedrooms and are also available throughout the day.
