Business:
Ross, one of our newest members, has had to opt out of the group due to his family commitments, but wishes us all well, and expects us to go on to great things! We'd all enjoyed his company, his gentle humour and excellent writing; we will miss him.
Press release for local media re our anthology – Dave is working on this.
The new back door bell is finally fitted and functioning – thank goodness!
Thanks again to Mairead for providing delicious treats.
Readings:
The homework topic was ‘Tales of place’, and what a terrific variety of stories was forthcoming. From Barcelona to the Barents Sea, ancient cave paintings in France to Chaucer’s connection with Ipswich – so much to enjoy!
An evening of good listening, and interesting discussion.
