The Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize is open for entries.
This competition- now in its sixth year- demonstrates the wonderful things that can be done with the short story form.
Galley Beggar Press support talented new writers and many previous winners, short-listers and long-listers have gone on to acheive great things, including publication.

The deadline for entry is 30th September 2020.
Word limit is up to 6,000 words.
There is a generous prize for the winner- but all long-listed and short-listed entries also receive cash prizes or vouchers.
