A new winner...

Barry accepting the Trophy from Tony
The Bill Budner Trophy was won tonight by Barry Martin with his story 'My Life So Far'. In a closely contested evening when every member had a number of votes for their work, Barry came out on top. Runner-up was Chairperson Dave Feakes with 'For King and Country' and equal third placing was shared by Tony's 'Who the Hell is Diane Ashworth' and Liliane's 'Long Live Freedom'.

As usual, the evening was packed full of eclectic stories each, in their own way, worthy of the Trophy.

It's back to normal next time on 4th June when the subject will be TEAMS.
Until then,

Keep Scribbling!
