Felixstowe Book Festival 1st July

On another hot and sunny day, the Felixstowe Scribblers and Orwell Writers' League provided a great opportunity for folk to try their hand at flash fiction.

We did have people in attendance who showed us they were capable writers and, more to the point, produced some great stories along with our own members.

The subjects of some two dozen prompts were drawn, each person having a different topic and, without fail, the groans were in unison! Everyone, though, came up with some excellent words from 25 minutes writing, the rest of the time with work being shared.

We did overrun a little but, as ours was the final event in the Furneaux Suite, it mattered little.

The prompts were drawn up by Cathy and Dave, each providing a dozen. Dave says 'It was not me who included Erotica in the prompts'... but he was the poor devil who drew it out.

A very good session.

Until next time,

Keep Scribbling!!!
