Our next meeting...

I hope you are enjoying the somewhat cooler (and a wee bit damper) weather today! It certainly makes a change to all the heat and sun we've been used to.

As you will know, there is no meeting this week - the reason being the 'extra' Tuesday that falls this month. That means a week off - or perhaps a week longer to compile your homework assignment.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday 7th August for a 1,000 word homework assignment including the phrase "I wish I had said..." This homework topic is not compulsory and writers may bring along some of their own work instead providing it falls within the 1,000 word limit. Please remember the door will be closed at 7.30.

I am not certain if I have mentioned it but our 'Crystal Ball' stories were sent to Mairead's family and her friend in New Hampshire and so I hope that they are enjoying reading them as much as we did writing them.

The latest CRA (Crime Readers' Association) updates are on their website at  https://thecra.co.uk/. They are always worth reading.

Until the 7th August...

Keep Scribbling!!!
