Tonight's gathering...

It was a really excellent evening at Scribblers again with so many stories on the theme of BOOTS. Such a variety, a real mix of emotional writing that is really inspirational to those listening to them. It is good to know that there are opportunities for the Scribblers to have their stories broadcast on Felixstowe Radio and Ipswich Community Radio organised by Tony at the Victoria Studios.

On the downside we learned from Caz that Les was rushed to hospital this morning after former Secretary Barry Darnell called to see him and dialled 111. Our thoughts are with him and any updates will be shared with his friends.

Our next meeting is in two weeks time and will be another of our four word creative writing sessions. It sounds a mystery to some but essentially all that is needed is to bring along four words, each written on a separate small slip of paper and then the fun begins! Oh and don't forget to bring a pen or pencil and writing paper! The meeting is on 21st October commencing at 7.30.

Until then,

Keep Scribbling!
