Formed over forty years ago, our Writers Circle is based in Felixstowe, Suffolk. Meetings are held in The Room at the Top in Felixstowe Library, normally on the first and third Tuesday of each month commencing at 7.30pm and finishing by 10.00pm. Check this weblog for details of meetings.

There is an annual November to November fee of £30, April to November is £20 and June to November £15. For members preferring to pay at each meeting the charge is £5 per meeting. 27th June. Curated this year by writers Emma 
Frost and Jack Thorne, the theme is CONFLICT. 
There's still some tickets left for credited 
TV/Radio/Theatre/Film writers – applications 
close on 17th June.

Tom Glover and Elliott Kerrigan have been 

announced as the two recipients of the Trans 
Comedy Award. Launched in partnership 
with Trans Comedy, we looked for original TV 
comedy scripts featuring transgender 
characters and/or themes. Tom and Elliott now
 have the opportunity to develop their script 
with BBC comedy execs.

Room deadline. As you can imagine, the reading
process has taken quite some time. If you're
waiting to hear from us, please bear with us as
we'll be in touch soon. Our brand new
e-submissions system for submitting scripts online
will launch later this year.
